ROUTE

Rhizoma is a path of tracks, bivouacs and "core" practices.

The path is a-methodical and is based on studio-led sessions and bodily experiences of immersion and movement in the natural elements, experienced within artistic, aesthetic and affective frame. It is based on the practice of Sensitive Dance®, with elements taken from the Body-Mind Centering ® approach and an experiential body of specific somatic movement integration teaching projects in aquatic, desert, and forest environments along with specific work with trees (*). It utilizes movement, silent practice, creation, and the experience of touch as tools of knowledge, learning, and inquiry for the purpose of supporting personal and collective transformation.

The basic course is spread over three and a half years and is structured in periods of practice and immersive experience, alternating short seminars, residential seminars in nature and periods of integrative break and personal study. The school also offers the opportunity to continue to deepen and specialize through a programme spread over an additional two years, including free attendance to workshops as continuing education.

The three-year pathway offers a specific in-depth program in anatomophysiology and somatic movement born from the synergy and collaboration between Cinzia Delorenzi and Barbara de Pasquale (physiotherapist, craniosacral/functional osteopathy therapist, pediatric osteopathic sciences).
